About us
The training centre „LSC Marine Training” Ltd. was founded in 1990 and is owned by JSC „Latvijas kuģniecība” (JSC “Latvian Shipping Company”).
The training centre offers all marine training courses provided for by the international convention STCW/95, “Regulations on certification of seafarers” of the Republic of Latvia, individual training courses on request, as well as professional training for young and future seafarers (seaman and motorman courses lasting 3-3.5 months).
Our centre is proud of the only training ship „Kapella” in the Baltic States, navigation, engine and tanker cargo system simulators, professionally developed courses and expert teachers with many years of sea-going experience.
